The Brodowski Quartet is based in London and is fast emerging
as one of the UK’s most exciting young string quartets. In 2007- two
years from formation they were; Winners of The Val Tidone International Chamber
Music Competition, Prize winners of The Charles Hennen Concours, selected
Park Lane Group Young Artists 2008, named ‘associate artists’
for The Anvil Concert Hall and awarded The Bulldog Scholarship for String
Quartet at Trinity College of Music. Their role as Junior Fellows at TCM sees
them regularly working with students - coaching ensembles, working with the
composition department and delivering their innovative, cross-departmental
project – ‘The Schubertiade project’. They enjoy performing
for music societies and clubs throughout the UK and abroad. Recent highlights;
Barbican, QEH, Purcell Room, Orlando and Kronberg Festivals and live broadcast
on Netherlands Radio. From 06 – 07 they studied with The Belcea Quartet,
generously supported by The Guildhall School of Music and Drama. They are
also fortunate to study with members of the renowned Alberni, Maggini, Takacs,
Wihan Quartets and with Professor Eberhard Feltz.
